Pentru Windows Vista:

815 - Failed to connect. (eroare generica)

Apare doar pe Windows Vista- . Inlocuieste codurile de eroare 676, 678, 691 and 769 din Windows XP si sistemele anterioare, si acopera cel putin  4 cauze de erori la conectare. This error can occur on attempts to make a DSL connection. Eroare exacta din ce cauza apare aceasta eroare nu este detaliata in momentul conectarii, de obicei apare pe Windows Vista Home Edition, poate aparea din cauza ca:

  • Linie ocupata (pentru linia DSL nu este sincronizat modemul, sau nu este configurat ok )
  • Remote Computer did not respond (este o problema de conectare)
  • O eroare de utilizator si parola (userul si parola sunt scrise gresit, sau este o problema de autentificare pe serverul providerului de internet, sau este suspendat abonamentul)
  • Destination Host Unreachable (problema de modem, modem instalat gresit.)
